Tech Alpharetta Appoints Six New Members To Its Strategic Advisory Board

New Additions Further Expand Board’s Breadth of Expertise and Knowledge

ALPHARETTA, GA (March 11, 2019) – Tech Alpharetta, the nonprofit organization helping the City of Alpharetta lead in innovation, announces six new members of its strategic advisory board. Tech Alpharetta’s Board, which focuses on ideating and implementing strategies for growing the Alpharetta tech community, is comprised of some of the city’s leading technology companies.

The 33-person Board features local c-suite and senior executives, along with community partners – ATDC, Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), Gwinnett Technical College, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GNFCC). Tech Alpharetta’s newest Board members include:  

  • Darren Cockrel, President, UPS IT Supply Chain Solutions and CIO, Coyote Logistics, a UPS company
  • Jason Moccia, CEO, OneSpring
  • Karyn Mullins, President, Healthcare Staffing Technologies, a Jackson Healthcare company
  • Jikin Shah, SVP, Head of Enterprise Crime and Compliance Technology, SunTrust
  • Ashok Vantipalli, CIO, TireHub
  • Adwait Joshi, CEO and founder, DataSeers

In addition, Garfield Anderson, Dean of Computer Science for Gwinnett Technical College; Ben Andrews, Statewide Program Manager for ATDC; and Kali Boatright, CEO of GNFCC, have recently assumed their organizations’ respective seats on the Tech Alpharetta Board.

Since its establishment in 2012, Tech Alpharetta and its Board have advised the city of Alpharetta on tech infrastructure and the city’s technology ecosystem. The Board’s recommendations have led to the launch of Tech Alpharetta’s Innovation Center, the creation of the city’s economic development website www.growalpharetta.com, and other notable developments.
